Elder Cliette’s military career has taken him around the globe and allowed him to work a distinguished mission to South Africa for their first elections whereby President Nelson Mandela was nominated President, he provided security for Presidents Clinton and Gore and many other United States Delegates as a member of the Air Force One Special Air Mission Security Team; Elder Cliette retired from the United States Air Force after over 20 years of honorable service.
Elder Cliette married to the former Ms. Janita T. Dixon of Capitol Heights Maryland on 19 February 2000, the military stationed them at Edwards Air Force Base in California. California was not only the beginning of their marriage but also their ministry. The Cliette’s joined Faith Chapel North Church of God In Christ in Lancaster California under the leadership of Superintendent D.K. The Cliette’s relocated to Suitland Maryland in 2003 and joined New Community Church of God In Christ, under the leadership of then Pastor Willie R. Hunt. The Cliette’s time at New Community was life changing in so many ways, Elder Cliette fully developed his prayer life, learned the mindset of having “Excellence In Ministry”, and further developed a “Servants Spirit” through the mentorship and example of Pastor Willie R. Hunt; which was expressed throughout the New Community church family.
In February 2005, the military relocated the Cliette family to Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City South Dakota for their final tour of duty before they retired. The Cliette family immediate began attending and in four months they joined Faith Temple Church of God In Christ in Rapid City under the leadership of Bishop Lorenzo Kelly, Prelate of the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the State of South Dakota Church of God In Christ. Elder Cliette was ordained during the State Convocation in 2005.
After retiring from the military in August of 2007, the Cliette’s relocated back to the Maryland area and re-joined Spread The News Church of God In Christ in Temple Hills Maryland, where Elder Cliette was saved and baptised with the Holy Ghost in this ministry; under the leadership of Superintendent Dwayne E. Jones in 1994. The Lord provided them a new home in Culpeper Virginia and after almost three years of traveling nearly two hours to Maryland; they were lead to Yeshua Church of God In Christ in Manassas Virginia; under the leadership of Superintendent Tony H. Campbell, Administrative Assistant to General Board Member, Bishop Ted G. Thomas Sr., Prelate of the Historic First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Virginia, of the Church of God In Christ.
